Mata na Madh is the spiritual heartland of Kutch, dedicated to Maa Ashapura — the Kuldevi (patron deity) of the Jadeja rulers and the people of Kutch. Built in the 14th century and beautifully restored after major earthquakes, this towering temple complex attracts hundreds of thousands of pilgrims on foot (Padyatra) during the autumn Navratri festival. Set against barren hills, it stands as an enduring sanctuary of faith and Kutchi heritage.
